UNITED OPT OUT: Corporate media coverage of the conference shows growing ruling class concern about test resistance

The surprising coverage of the recent United Opt Out conference in Florida is not significant for what it reports (most of the conference is ignored, including, for example, the important remarks by Stephen Krashen, reported earlier in Substance), but for the fact that it exists. Education Week has begun coverage of the growing test resistance, instead of simply repeating the data claims that for more than 20 years Ed Week have utilized to justify their eternal promotions of the latest iteration of corporation school reform.
