MEDIA WATCH: Rahm plans another media event at the Merchandise Mart to celebrate May Day

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, continuing his corporate media events, will be at Chicago's Merchandise Mart on the morning of May 1, 2013, to celebrate, for the second or third time the so-called "incubator" for high-tech stuff, "1871."

On May 1, the Mayor's Press Office distributed a media alert, as it does just about every day:
