Chicago Teachers Pension Fund to Organize Itself at November 17 meeting

Following the resignation of teacher trustee Maria Rodriguez (she retired in June 2011 and was no longer eligible to serve as a teacher trustee, also, she was not elected as a retiree trustee although she ran) and the defeat of teacher trustee John O'Brill, the Chicago Teachers Pension Fund (CTPF) will be reorganizing at its meeting of November 17, 2011 with at least two new officers (president and vice president; O'Brill was president and Rodriguez was vice president). The meeting, which will be held at the fund's offices at 203 N. LaSalle St. in Chicago at 9:30 a.m. on November 17, will begin with the swearing in of trustees and the election of the fund's officers (a president, vice president, and recording secretary). The only one of the current officers who is still a member of the trustees is Mary Sharon Reilly, Recording Secretary, who was re-elected in the recent election.
