This coming Tuesday, the Chicago Teachers Union and the Chicago Jobs with Justice Workers' Rights Board are hosting a community forum on the state of the CTU contract and education justice in Chicago.
The forum will include panelists from Raise Your Hand and More than a Score, Parents 4 Teachers, the ReFund America Project, and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Anyone concerned about the quality of education in Chicago is encouraged to attend.
The forum is at 6:30 pm Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Irving Park Baptist Church, 4401 W. Irving Park. I hope to see you there.
