SUBSCRIPT: Huberman is all to the 'Right' Right?

Chicago Public Schools 'Chief Executive Officer' Ron Huberman (above) has no experience in teaching, educational administration, or any aspect of public education. a protege of Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, Huberman has hired more than $2 million worth of similar people to executive positions inside Chicago's school system since he was appointed to his present post in January 2009. Above, Huberman at the April 22, 2009 meeting of the Chicago Board of Education. Substance photo by George N. Schmidt.More and more people have been noticing that when Ron Huberman nervously moves into a Big Lie in his narratives his nervousness shows by his interspersing every sentence with "Right?!" "Right?!" The word seems to be half-question, half tic. But in reality it seems an unconscious way of proclaiming his political direction as well. Like many of the other homebound heroes who've paraded as tough guys over the past decade ago (think Richard M. Daley and George W. Bush, whose National Guard service during the Vietnam War saved Springfield Illinois and Austin Texas from being overrun by the Viet Cong), it also seems to indicate the direction they've been marching and their plans for everyone else if they can get away with it. No wonder they're hiding behind verbal tics and bombastic claims... 
