Growing list of issues to come before June 24 Chicago Board of Education meeting

A growing number of issues are expected to come before the June 24 meeting of the Chicago Board of Education, despite the determination of Chicago Board of Education President Michael Scott to narrow the scope of Public Participation and limit the number of speakers at the meetings and the announcement by the school system's new Chief Executive Officer, former Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Chief Ron Huberman, to limit the meeting to the introduction of his new executive staff and claims that the Chicago Board of Education faces an unprecedented budget deficit.
