MEDIA WATCH: New York Times reporter looking for teachers critical of overuse of technology to go on the record and factually from the classroom

A New York Times reporter would like to talk to teachers who are feeling pressured to use more technology than they feel is useful, teachers who think whiteboards, Power Points, whatever are not quite the miracles they are cracked up to be.

Some people have told me that these days teachers won't go public about anything. Reading Substance shows me that this might not be true in Chicago. If you're interested (and willing to talk and possibly be quoted on the record), send me an e-mail and I'll pass your contact info on to the reporter.
