CPS budget hearings begin August 10 as Board's inaccuracies grow
The annual hearings on the Proposed Budget 2011 - 2012 for Chicago's public schools are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Lane Technical High School, the address of which is officially 2501 W. Addison St. The hearings begin each night at 7:00 p.m., with sign-in for those who wish to testify beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The dates and locations for the three hearings are:
Wednesday August 10, 2011: Lane Tech HS (2501 West Addison Street). Sign in begins at 6:00; hearing begins at 7:00.
Thursday August 11, 2011: Westinghouse HS (3223 West Franklin Boulevard) Sign in begins at 6:00; hearing begins at 7:00.
Friday, August 12, 2011: Simeon HS (8147 South Vincennes Avenue), Sign in begins at 6:00; hearing begins at 7:00.
