CTU to host 'Tele Town Hall' on Monday, May 16 to answer questions on SB7

On Saturday, May 14, 2011, the Chicago Teachers Union announced that it will be holding a 'Tele Town Hall' for union members to answer questions about Senate Bill 7 and other issues facing the 28,000-member union. The union announcement follows:

"Chicago Teachers Union’s officers will host a live 'Telephone Town Hall' for all CTU members this Monday, May 16 at 7pm. We’ll answer your questions and share up-to-date information on Senate Bill 7 and other challenges facing our work in the Chicago Public Schools. We need you to be by your phone when we call you sometime between 7 and 7:15 PM on Monday. All you need to do to participate is answer your phone. We need to hear from you.

Length of school day

Six hours is a lot for the littles. I would be happy to work longer hours, but i need to be compensated for my time
