SUBSCRIPT: Last Stand for Children covers Teach for America's Nuremberg rally in New York, Arne Duncan featured

The always informative website Last Stand for Children has been ignored by many people for the past few months, since their debut at the end of 2010. That might end now that they are covering major news events such as last weekend's Teach for America event held in New York City. Those who wish to savor the Last Chance vision can find it at http://laststand4children.blogspot.com/

A number of Substance readers are considering making donations of the Last Stand bubble sheet wallpaper to some of Chicago's premier charter schools, starting with the "Pritzker campus" of Noble Street (which was featured along with KIPP at the Teach for America event in New York City). Let us know what you think of this project as Noble Street, for the eighth year in a row, dumps its "bad" students back into schools like Wells High School, Crane High School, and Kelvyn Park High School in Chicago. After all, if it's got Prizker billions behind it, it's got to be the best. Just ask Barack Obama, whose campaign finance chairperson was Penny Pritzker, who just raised the $3.4 million dollars in a couple of weeks to bankroll Stand for Children's next attack on Illinois teachers in the Illinois General Assembly. Those who can't reach the Bubble Sheet story can find the URL at
