Half-day kindergarten will negatively impact my child

Substance photo by Sharon Schmidt.As a parent and a teacher, I am extremely worried that my child's education is being compromised due to these budget cuts. I am worried that half-day kindergarten will negatively impact my child's education and also create hardship for working parents that are financially struggling since they will have to find daycare options. This is simply not fair to those students/families that NEED a full-day environment, not just educationally, but socially and emotionally as well.
