SUBSCRIPT: District 299 doesn't need CPS censorship to promote SEXCON and a unique PSAE biology question

…For a long time, we missed regular intercourse — excuse us, “interaction” — with the that venerable ‘District299.com’ blog. Once they went over to the scab union-busting, teacher-bashing environments of the Chicago Tribune, it became impossible — not to mention often irrelevant and/or boring.

But as of the last days of April 2010, we're (really and truly) happy to announce that THOSE DAYS OF BORING ARE OVER FOR SURE at District299.com. District 299 is getting more nifty cool than we could have imagined. No longer will 500 anonymous bloggers and one suicidal teacher (in her own name) rant on and on and on and on about some tyrannical New Leaders for New Schools nicompoop New Age principal. District 299 of late has been providing its readers with a lot more than gossip about 125 S. Clark St.

But don't take our word for it. Hit the link and hook up with district 299.com yourself...

www.district 299.com

By April’s end, those of us who went to District299.com were provided with a direct link to one of Chicago’s more interesting sites. By all means, go.

But we have a question for the bloggers over there. What’s the pink monkey doing in photo 97 accessed through District 299’s “Sexcon” link? Don’t believe Substance? Check out

... and experience the experience for yourself.

Let’s cover the basics on this, and make it all instructionally relevant — as it’s PSAE time and we’re mandated to improve science scores on the NAEP of Chicago will flunk out of the global economy like every nation that borders the Mediterranean. Look at that photo, which has three mammals in it (far as we can tell). As students of anatomy and biology will aver, it’s somewhat obvious what the two mammals clad scantily in white are up to in the same photograph next to that pole (as in “pole dancing”). But the pink chimp has us baffled. Was there a missing photograph. Anyway, it was nice to know that the same month CPS was blocking access to the Substance website, everyone in Huberland was happily allowing the children to hang out at District 299 and click the link that would take them to photo #97. It must have been PSAE or ISAT preparation. Was the chimp doing (a), (b), (c) or (d)? And, while you’re at it, was (b) the correct answer to the question “What are the two homo sapiens performing in the photograph above?” 
