Two new faces on pension board of trustees following recent election... Rodriguez returned to pension board defeating incumbent Bob Bures...

There will be two new faces on the Pension Board of Trustees following the recent election for trustees. Although the contests for teacher and principal trustees were uncontested (two candidates for the teacher spots; one for the only principal spot), there was a hotly contested race for the three retiree trustees, and in that race Maria Rodriguez beat out incumbent Bob Bures for one of the three spots representing retired teachers and administrators (of which this reporter is one).

The new teacher trustee is Greg Redfairn. Tina Padillo was also re-elected.

The trustees will take their seats at the CTPF's November meeting. Additional information is available at the CTPF website.
