Dyett Labor Day rally continues the fight for Dyett following the latest hypocrisy of the Emanuel administration.The growing movement in support of the Dyett High School green technology and global high school will be holding a Labor Day rally at Dyett on Labor Day afternoon, September 7, 2015, beginning at five in the afternoon. The decision by the Dyett hunger strikers to continue the hunger strike following the announcement by Chicago Public Schools Chief Executive Officer that the school system had reached what Claypool viewed as a reasonable compromise on the issue. Dyett would remain a general high school, but would not be along the lines proposed over five years by the Dyett organizers.
