A delightful video was just posted from a November 12, 2013 meeting in New York during which a teacher demanded the resignation of New York State Schools Chief John King (a charter school principal who was pushed for the state job by corporate school reformers) and proclaimed "Hundreds of thousands of mommies are going to fill out this form and then are going to refuse to have their children take this test..."

The video was taken at the Common Core Forum on November 12, 2013 held at Ward Melville High School (New York). In it, the teacher who speaks notes that she is a mandated reporter under New York law and she is standing to report child abuse. She notes that psychologists have now identified a test anxiety syndrome affecting thousands of children. She reminds the audience in the large auditorium that she has been rated a "highly effective" teacher and challenges the officials sitting silently on the stage.
