CTU postpones House of Delegates meeting until Friday, February 2, 2011

The Chicago Teachers Union announced in mid-afternoon on Tuesday, February 1, that the House of Delegates meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 2, at the Operating Engineers union hall (South Grove Street) has been postponed. The union offices also closed at 2:00 p.m. on February 1, according to a phone message that was left on the CTU phone.

The following notice was posted on the CTU web site (www.ctunet.com) by Kenzo Shibata.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CTU DISTRICT SUPERVISORS & DELEGATES

Wednesday’s (2/2) House of Delegates meeting has been canceled due to the closure of the Operating Engineers Hall for inclement weather. The meeting is tentatively rescheduled for this Friday, February 4 at the usual time and place. The District Supervisors meeting scheduled to take place Tuesday (2/1) has been canceled as well.
