RAHMWATCH: WTF should Chuy have a 'plan' when history shows that Rahm's 2011 plan was to script his 'Chicagoland' nonsense and screw poor and working class Chicago?...
I hate to be short tempered, but for the past week I've been hearing some usually intelligent people sounding like the Winnetka and Kenilworth assholes who write editorials for the Chicago Tribune, demanding that Chuy have what they call a "plan" for what they've dubbed the "pension crisis." Let's start by demanding that they realize that democracy is a plan, and that democracy takes time no matter what Moody's and Fitch rating services huff and puff about.
Here is what I wrote earlier. I just have one regret. Comparing our dignified dog Bear with some of those who are aping the Rahm Party Line was unfair to dogs:
Second, Chuy's not bowing down to the screwed up demands of the ruling class and pulling a couple of fiscal rabbits out of several hats as NOW ("now") demanded by the same people who ignored most of the lies, thievings, and atrocities of the past four years of Rahm's rule. Take this one damned (DAMNED) example: There is no (singular) PENSION CRISIS (no matter how many times they throw that work in your face in headlines, etc.). There are several major pension funds in Illinois and hundreds of little ones. Some of those are underfunded by major criteria, but could be slowly rebuilt. Others are doing fine -- FINE. That's just one example of how you've been lied to. LIED TO. Now if you want to learn more of the working class (and "middle class") facts about this one (among many) ruling class LIES, you can read the Website I edit, www.substancenews.net. We've been covering these stories from a working class perspective for decades, and since Rahm it's been even more interesting documenting these lies. So, Chuy is going to be patient, asking people who know a little more than you about these issues (like me, on pensions and CPS finances, to give two examples).
But, then, you're dancing like out little pet, Bear, a combination Bison-Frise and Shitz-Tsu, to the tunes played this week by the same assholes who told you before February 24 to VOTE FOR RAHM because he's the "best". So now they're telling you to VOTE FOR RAHM because Chuy doesn't have a "plan" for every damned thing today. The plan (PLAN) is called democracy, and it takes more time than that stupid script Rahm brought to us in May 2011 when he appointed that rich people school board and immediately pulled his bullshit LONGER SCHOOL DAY campaign, "ain't no money for no raises for the teachers" campaign, and all that other stuff that was supposed to create the script for "Chicagoland." Sorry, if I'm going to be a bit insensitive to people who actually believe the propaganda slop they are fed by the ruling class in 2015...
