John Oliver's show is skewering stupidity from Ayn Rand to ALEC regularly.For those of us who began watching The Daily Show during the dark days of George W, Bush's invasion of Iraq, it was difficult to believe that other shows could even improve on the model. But my sons insisted that I watch John Oliver's shows, and they were right (although I've asked them not to use some of the language as often as Oliver does, even when it's appropriate).
