Colorado Opt Out movement expands billboards... Four highway billboards now up as testing season looms

The test resistance in Colorado has expanded the billboards our coalition has put up urging parents to exercise their rights and exempt their children from the fraud of high stakes standardized tests. Our campaign resulted in contributions from all parts of the country, and because of those contributions we were able to purchase four billboards, two on the eastern slope and two on the western slope. The two digital boards are on the western in Grand Junction and the two traditional boards are on the eastern slope, in South Denver and Greeley.

opt out movement in Colorado

Regardless of my personal stake in the matter, this piece captures clearly and concisely our mission to inform parents of their exemption rights in the face of the fraud of high stakes standardized testing. The more we can raise our voices on behalf of the higher goals of public education, the better. Thank you, Substance for doing just that.
