Chicago again finds the necessary administrative talent -- in Ohio -- as Barbara Byrd Bennett brings in another Ohio crony adding insult to injury in Illinois

The final lists of the new "Chiefs of Schools" for the newly created 13 "Networks" in Chicago's public schools have not yet been made public, but it looks like once again Chicago's "Chief Executive Officer" Barbara Byrd Bennett has gone home to Ohio to pick up another person for a leadership job in Chicago. According to reliable CPS sources, the new Network 10 "Chief of Schools" will be Rhonda Saegert from Ohio. Because the appointment is being made a week after the October meeting of the Chicago Board of Education, it appears that there will, once again, be no public discussion of the unusual personnel policies of the current CEO.
