'HANDS OFF OUR SCHOOLS!'... CTU schedules next round of meetings and protests against vicious planned closings and cuts
Following the successful mobilizations and canvassing on January 19, 2013, the Chicago Teachers Union and its community allies have scheduled continuing organizing against the proposed massive closing of schools. The closings, as reported in the January 20 Chicago Sun-Times, are in planning by the mercenary out-of-town bureaucrats currently running Chicago's public schools under the latest "Chief Executive Officer," former Detroit and Cleveland administrator Barbara Byrd-Bennett.
Schedule for the next two weeks, all of us need to participate and say hands off our schools!!!!
