Chicago Board of Education to meet Tuesday, September 25, and prove that it was lying about its 'deficit' problems

The Chicago Board of Education meeting for September 2012 will take place on September 25, 2012 (a Tuesday, rather than the usual Wednesday) and consist of two meetings. The first meeting will be to authorize the Board to borrow three-quarters of a billion dollars and will take place officially at 9:00 a.m. The "regular" meeting of the Board is scheduled to being at 10:30 with the usual time wasting that forces members of the public who wish to speak to wait for hours while CPS officials drone on about the latest Power Point reality they have conjured.

Members of the public who wish to speak aboue the $750 million borrowing must sign up between 8:00 and 8:30 in the lobby of CPS at 125 S. Clark St. in Chicago.

Members of the public who wish to wait until the Board has completed stalling their participation are supposed to sign up for the "regular" Board meeting between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

The agenda that was provided to the public indicates that CPS will continue the massive privatization of public schools services as the 2012 - 2013 school year begins.
